Project: Reinvest In Grand Rapids
Service: Project Management
(re)invest in GR invited residents to reimagine a safer and healthier community through investments in six focus areas that align with the root causes of crime. Those six areas are Affordable housing, Mental Health, Physical Health, Environmental Sustainability, Police Accountability, and Equitable Economic Development. A coalition of organizations practicing within the 6 focus areas was formed. The coalition's goal is to explore how the City of Grand Rapids could be safer and healthier by inviting residents to direct investments in key social services.
